Silicon Microgravity is a technology company in my constituency, specialising in motion and gravity sensing equipment. The applications of their products are wide-ranging in markets such as defence, aerospace, autonomous vehicles and robotics.
I enjoyed taking a look around their superb facility at Cambridge Innovation Parks Ltd in Waterbeach last week to see some of the impressive technology up close and hear more about the work they do.
The firm has recently benefited from £1.8 million of additional investment, including from the Government's UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund, which is designed to nurture innovative businesses to leverage private investment and grow jobs.
Investment is just one of the ways the Government is making Britain the best place in the world for tech businesses.
