Adult social care staff make an extraordinary commitment to supporting the lives and independence of our loved ones. It is vital that we support the system so they can continue their work with excellence.
On Friday, the Government announced that Cambridgeshire County Council will receive an additional £3.5 million for 2023-24, as part of the ‘Workforce Fund’.
This money will allow the county to expand its social care capacity and better support workers, including on pay.
