I am delighted that the Outline Business Case for Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital has this week been approved by the Department for Health and Social Care, NHS England and HM Treasury. This is a significant milestone as we work towards construction in 2024.
Once in operation, the hospital will accelerate the early detection of cancer and lead the way in delivering bespoke, precision treatments that will radically improve patient outcomes in our area.
Work is progressing on the Full Business Case, which is the last major step before the hospital can become a reality.
