Littleport youth

I am determined that young people in Cambridgeshire have more opportunities to fulfil their potential.

Last Friday, I visited the Littleport Youth and Community Centre to see how Littleport Town Council are engaging their young people in the area, principally through ThePORT Youth Group. The group caters to approximately 150 youth between the ages of 10 and 17, with multiple sessions on offer during the week.

During our time together, we spoke about the youth club’s vision for the future and my ambition to expand provision regionally to young people to make sure more young people have something to do locally.
