Since becoming the local MP eight years ago, I have strongly campaigned in partnership with local health leaders and NHS trusts for Ely to get the funding it needs to deliver excellent healthcare.
I was therefore delighted last week to get along to the new and improved St Mary’s Surgery in Ely, which fully reopened in July following a significant £4.1 million expansion. The practice now has 50% higher capacity, including 26 high quality clinical rooms.
The excellent staff are already seeing a record number of patients, and are offering both online and in-person appointments, which is so important in our post-COVID age.
