Cambridge University is one of the most prestigious institutions in the world and it’s right on the doorstep of my constituency! 
On Friday, I had an introductory meeting with the new Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University, Deborah Prentice, to discuss how the university can deepen its community links with schools and businesses, and how we can work cooperatively to generate greater prosperity for our area.
Whether it’s on issues of health, research or skills, it’s clear the university has so much to offer South East Cambridgeshire, and I want to do all I can as a local MP to help them thrive too.
