For many years, I have been campaigning with my neighbouring MPs for a new Cancer Hospital and Children's Hospital at Cambridge Biomedical Centre which would deliver world-class health services for many of my constituents.
Last week, my office met with Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to discuss progress.
Following the Government's funding green light back in May for the Cancer Hospital, the full business case is to be submitted shortly and the planning application is to be reviewed in January.
For the Children's Hospital, fundraising continues in order to top up the Government's £100 million pledge, with the next funding review due in April.
