I have made my position clear that Sunnica's solar farm application is unfit for our area - it is excessive in size and would use some of our best agricultural land.
Solar will continue to be a vital part of our national net zero strategy, but it must be implemented in an appropriate manner.
I met with the Say No to Sunnica Action Group this morning. Together, we await the outcome of the application.
