From this weekend, thousands of working people in South East Cambridgeshire and 27 million across the country will have their National Insurance contributions cut by the Government. This represents the single largest ever tax cut for workers.
It means:
someone earning £25,000 will save approximately £249 every year
someone earning £35,000 will save approximately £449 every year
someone earning £45,000 will save approximately £649 every year
This is only possible because inflation has been halved and the economy has recovered more quickly from the pandemic than anticipated
