I enjoyed speaking with residents of Haddenham and Aldreth last Saturday about a host of important issues – from access to local healthcare, opportunities for young people in education and the community, and road safety.
I am following up on the points raised. Here are a few of the steps I will be taking:
I will be meeting with local health authorities to see how our local surgeries are taking advantage of the Government’s £240 million investment in GP telephone systems other digital tools – designed to build on the 50.9 million additional GP appointments delivered since October 2019
I will continue to support the Parish Council’s efforts on speeding and their campaign to cut all unnecessary HGV traffic in the village
Having already secured £44 million in additional education funding or 2023/24, I will continue to work with partners across the constituency to ensure South East Cambridgeshire gets its fair share of schools funding
