Recently, many of my constituents have remarked that repairs on our local highways have not been carried out with the expected level of care or quality, causing many problems to re-emerge.
Poor road surfaces can put people’s safety in jeopardy and damage our vehicles, so it is vital that works are carried out properly.
This week, I have written to the Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire County Council to ask how he will address these issues with the help of the additional £3 million provided by the Government.
